What a wonderful concert to close 2008. As usual we left Angel Place uplifted and full of admiration for our national gem (ACO). The encores were a special bonus as well. Hearing The Waltz of the Flowers took me back to my childhood in the late 1950s when the local radio station in Murwillumbah occasionally broadcast a narrated children's version during the breakfast program. I re-lived those days of sitting in front of the radiogram, rapt in the story of the mice disguising themselves as flowers and waltzing to freedom under the cat's nose! Bravo ACO.
